HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A problem with a United Airlines jet grounded some passengers on Thursday.
The incident happened when a flight took off from Huntsville International Airport headed to Denver.
Tower officials noticed smoke coming from the right wing, and the pilot made the call to turn around and land.
United sent a technician to inspect the plane.
How many passengers were on board and the reason for the smoke are unknown.
