ATTALLA, AL (WAFF) -
An Etowah County teen
is crocheting hats for a good cause.
15-year-old Jordan
Patterson, a sophomore at Etowah High School, is collecting yarn to crochet
hats for cancer patients.
Patterson said she plans
to take 150 hats to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis to distribute to
the young cancer patients.
Patterson said her
grandmother died of cancer. She said her grandmother told her "you don't give
to get. You give to other people to show you care."
