HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
You can help others stay warm this winter.
Huntsville Utilities announced another year of Project Share.
Project Share is a partnership between the Salvation Army and Huntsville Utilities.
Donations go to people who need help with their utility bills.
Huntsville Utilities does not get a cut of the donations.
"It's helped a lot of people - over $3-million dispersed and 100 percent of the contributions go to helping customers," said Bill Yell with Huntsville Utilities.
Project Share's been around 24 years.
All the money that was donated in previous years went to help more than 21,000 families.
