MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The soldier charged with enticing a child and kidnapping in Colorado is scheduled for a court hearing Tuesday for a new charge of enticement.
The new charge against Aaron Gregory Lucas is for an August 2nd incident.
Lucas is in the El Paso County, Colorado Criminal Justice Center on several charges involving cases in El Paso County, as well as the cities of Fountain and Colorado Springs.
Colorado investigators said Lucas faces two charges in El Paso County related to 7 and 9-year-old children.
Fountain Police said Lucas was arrested after warrants were taken out on October 23rd. He was picked up on base at Fort Carson on six initial charges including enticement, sexual assault of a child, and attempted kidnapping.
Investigators said Lucas made a statement at the time of his arrest and was interviewed. They did not discuss what Lucas said to investigators.
The Army said Lucas was previously awarded medals, including the Afghan Campaign Medal and the Bronze Star - awarded for heroic or meritorious achievement.
Lucas is from Madison County and has family in the Huntsville area.
In fact, the Madison County Sheriff's Office is working with the US Army to determine if Lucas is responsible for similar crimes here.
This comes after a Hazel Green family came forward saying Lucas looked like the man who approached their young daughters in 2008.
Leaders of a task force investigating several child enticement cases say Lucas could have dozens of victims.
Authorities are not saying if he is the man that exposed himself to a Madison County girl several years ago, but they are talking with Army CID to see if any details from Colorado match the investigation here.
The Madison County family said a man matching his description urinated in their front yard in 2008 and exposed himself to two 8-year-old girls.
The man then tried to lure the girls away before a neighbor spooked him.
The family filed a report with the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
Nobody was ever arrested, but after seeing the report Monday night, the family is convinced it was Aaron Lucas.
Lucas's last known Alabama address is less than a mile from where the Madison County family lives and the incident happened.
