Some Korean War veterans are taking a trip back in time and revisiting the country they once fought in.
The first time the veterans went to Korea, they were 18 or 19. Now, many of them are in their 80's and just like they have changed, Korea has too.
The veterans tell us comparing the old Korea to the new is something they are looking forward to. Billy Neal fought in the war. He said this trip is something he has been looking forward to.
"I haven't been back since I was there in 1950 and 1951, so it's going to be a treat."
Nine veterans are going on the trip. The Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation is picking up the tab.
The organization said it's the least they can do to say thank you for the veterans' service. The veterans will spend nine days in South Korea.
While they are there, they will get to explore the country, dine on South Korean cuisine and they will also get to meet members of the South Korean government.
They will return on November 14 at 4:30PM.
