MADISON, AL (WAFF) -
An overnight apartment fire in Madison forced several people out of their homes.
The fire broke out at an apartment on Michael Avenue near Wall Triana around 10:30 Wednesday night.
Firefighters battled the blaze for about half an hour before they were able to get it contained. They said the fire started in the bottom left unit and damaged the unit above it.
Two units were spared, but 10 people are out of their homes. No one was injured.
The Madison Fire Department is working to determine the cause of the fire.
The fire damaged 2 units.
