HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police are searching for two thieves after they attacked and robbed a woman in broad daylight in a parking lot off Jordan Lane Wednesday afternoon.
The victim said she was walking out of a business to her car when a man tried to talk to her. She tried to get into her vehicle, but that's when a second man forced her to drop her wallet.
The victim tried to put her foot down on top of the wallet, but one of the robbers punched her and grabbed the wallet.
A witness reportedly saw the entire attack and robbery on a nearby rooftop.
Police reviewed security footage at a nearby business to try to identify the robbers, but so far no one has been taken into custody.
The victim said she's seen at least one of the robbers around the area in the past and that she's afraid they might come back and attack her again.
"I put my foot on it and he punched me in my shoulder. I had all my money in there, my debit, my life. Everything I have is in that wallet and I don't have much," she said.
