One person was killed in a wreck late Wednesday morning off Cave Springs Road.
James Elmore, 58, was killed on impact after the Ford F-150 he was driving veered off the road and struck a tree.
Alabama State Troopers said Elmore was not wearing a seatbelt, and although the crash is still under investigation, troopers determined speed was a factor.
