A passing motorist found the partially burned body in July after stopping to investigate what appeared to be a grass fire around 1 a.m.
The indictments are the result of a four month investigation. The Franklin County Sheriff's Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation worked together on the investigation.
Jones was charged with first degree murder, two counts of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated rape.
