HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Tennessee Valley activists are getting ready to help get out the vote on Tuesday.

Monday night, the community wide voter empowerment team brushed up on polling procedures and important questions for Tuesday.

The team is a joint effort of the NAACP, along with area churches, fraternities and sororities.

Volunteers will be out Tuesday manning polling stations, driving voters to the polls, and sometimes answering questions to make sure as many voters possible get out to vote.

"It's a challenge, but I think there's the enthusiasm and the interest in making sure that everything that can possibly be done, to make it easier for those people that are going to the polls, that is being done," said Representative Laura Hall (D) of Huntsville.
