MADISON, AL (WAFF) -
The city of Madison officially has new leadership.
Mayor Troy Trulock and city council members were sworn into office Monday evening.
Trulock defeated Don Palmer in August.
He said he wants to continue to do successful things in the city of Madison.
In the near future, Trulock said they will address the budget.
"We need to talk about where we are on the budget. And once we identify our budget, we need to get ready and moving on the things that are important to the citizens of Madison, such as improving our roads and improving our parks and recreation and our green space," said Trulock.
Trulock said he looks forward to serving the residents of Madison.
