Monday is the last day to return absentee ballots

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Monday, November 5th is the last day to return absentee ballots.

Voters can hand deliver them by 5 p.m. to the county Circuit Court Clerk or mail the ballots, as long as it is postmarked by November 5th.

In Madison County, a record number of absentee ballots have been requested. This year, 10,675 have been requested. In 2008, there were 10,600 requested.

On election day, November 6th, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
