DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur Police are searching for a teen who shot someone
in the leg.
Officers said they were dispatched to Brookline Avenue and
Gaslight Pike for a shooting Saturday night.
When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot
wound to the leg.
Investigators said the shooting may have stemmed from an
argument between acquaintances. The shooter was identified as a 17-year-old
juvenile.
The victim was taken to Parkway Medical Center with non life
threatening injuries.
The shooter has not yet been located. The investigation is
ongoing.
