TONEY, AL (WAFF) -
Fire crews responded to a brush fire in wooded area off Wall Triana Highway in Madison County.
Monrovia firefighters raced to a brush fire that quickly spread just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
The heavy smoke and flames made it difficult for firefighters to get to after the flames spread from a vehicle.
Crews said the they brush fire burned an acre of land.
