Alleged shoplifter strikes Walmart employee

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police arrested a shoplifter who allegedly struck a Walmart employee.

Police said a loss prevention employee at the Walmart on University Drive saw Allison Chippoletti put merchandise in her purse and then try to leave without paying.

When the employee tried to stop her, she struck him and fled.

Police apprehended her outside the store and arrested her.

    Army Reserves member, Cayln McLemore has been missing since Wednesday, June 20. According to a Jacksonville news station McLemore was participating in a 25-day leadership training course at Camp Blanding and was sent out Wednesday morning with dozens of classmates for a land navigation assignment. The exercise, which involves individual soldiers finding rally points in the woods before returning to a designated location, should only have taken a couple of hours, ...
