HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -
Two people were arrested in Hartselle after sheriff's
deputies said they found a meth lab in a vehicle.
Deputies said that on Thursday morning, agents observed Joey
Lee Wilhite and Shannon Haynes buying cold medicine at local pharmacies.
Agents made contact with the suspects' vehicle and had K-9
units search it. They found a pink bag containing a meth lab, acids, lye, salt,
lithium batteries and syringes.
White and Haynes were arrested and charged with manufacture
of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
