HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
As cleanup continues, volunteers from North Alabama will head to areas hit hard by
Hurricane Sandy to lend a hand.
Thursday afternoon, two volunteers reported to the Red Cross in
Huntsville to fill out their paperwork.
"It gives help to other people whether you need it or not and most
of them are very grateful for the help you give," said volunteer Catherine
Sarkany.
Sarkany will be heading to New Brunswick, New Jersey. She'll be
doing case work and handing out supplies.
