HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
It being the Halloween season, we have a thief who did her own version of trick or treating. She treated herself to some jewelry at a local store.
The thief entered the Hobby Lobby on Carl T. Jones Drive August 27th.
In surveillance video, her purse is seen as flat and apparently empty as she walked into the store, but see that purse is a whole lot fatter as she walked out of the store.
She stuffed a whole lot of sterling silver jewelry items in her purse. She made off with several hundred dollars worth of items.
She did buy one item, seemingly to cover her tracks, but she appeared very nervous on surveillance video at the register.
If you know who the woman is, make the anonymous phone call to 256-53-CRIME, or send an anonymous text or e-mail. Click on the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link to see how.
There's up to a thousand dollars in reward money waiting for you.
