DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police issued a warrant for a man connected to a robbery at a RaceWay gas station.

The victim told police that she stopped for gas at the station on I65 in Decatur on October 27. A man wearing a toboggan and a bandana over his face came up and robbed her at gunpoint.

The man, identified as Bobby Dale Huffines, stole $25 and an Apple iPhone. He fled the scene in a white Chevy Malibu.

Huffines was arrested hours later in Clanton, Alabama following a chase. Officials said he was fleeing from two armed robberies.

When police apprehended him, they found the victim's phone as well as a gun reported stolen out of Tennessee. He was arrested and charged with first degree robbery and attempted murder.

On October 31, Decatur Police issued an arrest warrant for him on first degree robbery.

He remains in the Chilton County Jail on $200,000 bond. If he bonds out, he will be transferred to the Limestone County Jail.

Tennessee and Alabama officials are investigating to determine if he is connected to any other crimes in the area.
