A man from Cullman pleaded guilty to assault in Marshall County.
24-year-old Brian Anthony Raines was originally charged with attempted murder.
Police said he tried to run over two people after a dispute in a bar.
Prosecutors said Raines got into a verbal altercation with a customer and a bouncer at Jekyll and Hyde Bar in Arab last year.
He attempted to run over two men and hit a motorcycle in the parking lot twice.
He faces up to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced January 28.
