HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Several flights to and from Huntsville International Airport are being canceled as Hurricane Sandy approaches the East Coast.

Currently, all flights in and out of Washington D.C. for Monday have been canceled. Airport officials said U.S. Airways canceled all flights in and out of DCA to and from Huntsville for October 30th.

Other markets could also be impacted.

Passengers are encouraged to check the status of their flights before arriving at the airport.
