HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Halloween came early at the Space and Rocket Center Sunday.
Event organizers held an "extraterrestrial costume contest early
Sunday afternoon.
Those dressed in a Halloween costume received free admission to
the Rocket Center.
Kids showed up dressed as space men, super heroes and even Buzz
Lightyear from "Toy Story."
Those dressed up got a chance to strut their stuff in front of
visitors and judges to see whose costume was the best.
"The winners, in each age group, will win trips to space camp or
family membership to our museum," said event organizer Jen DeiCarlo.
