BRIDGEPORT, AL (WAFF) -
Bridgeport Police evacuated two plants in response to a bomb threat Sunday morning.
Police said they received the threat around 5:15 a.m. to the area of Jacobs Avenue in Bridgeport.
Police said they received a call to 911 and one call directly to the Bridgeport Police Department.
Officials evacuated the Beaulieu Fabrics Plant and the Beaulieu Fibers Plants. Police checked the scene and it was cleared just before 11 a.m.
Workers have since been allowed to return to work.
