COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A Colbert County woman faces prison time for
child abuse charges.
Cinderella Clever was convicted on charges of
torture and willful child abuse Friday.
Investigators said Clever put a clothes pin
on the genitals of a 5-year-old as punishment.
It took the jury only 40 minutes to return a
guilty verdict. Clever faces up to 10 years in prison.
Her sentencing will be in a month.
