A Colbert County health inspector reported two critical violations at the old Rocking Chair Restaurant in Tuscumbia as they scored an 80.
The inspector reported chicken in the steam table in the food danger zone, more than 60 degrees below the minimum temperature required to prevent bacterial growth in hot-holding foods. The other critical violation was given for chili and green beans in storage with no indication of when they were prepared.
The Cracker Barrel in Huntsville scored an 80 during their last inspection. During their reinspection, the health inspector reported no critical violations, as the Cracker Barrel scored a 93 with the Madison County Health Department.
