MSFC Scientist makes Time Magazine's 'most influential' list


Dr. Chryssa Kouveliotou, an astrophysicist at Huntsville's Marshall Space Flight Center, is among Time Magazine's 25 most influential people in space.

Kouveliotou was born in Greece. She wanted to study space as a child.

Kouveliotou has been with NASA since 2004. She's worked as the principal investigator on numerous research projects in the US and Europe.

Kouveliotou is currently a co-investigator on the Gamma-ray Burst Monitor.
