FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Florence Police are looking for two men in connection with a stolen credit card in the Shoals.

They're accused of racking up nearly $1,000 in purchases on the card, and they were caught on tape buying an iPad in September at Walmart.

After investigating purchases on the card, police were able to determine the men had an iPad in the bag.

Police said one man was wearing a green Dale Earnhardt Jr., number 88, NASCAR jacket.

Investigators believe the men found a wallet, but instead of returning it to the owner or handing it over to police, they decided to use it for their own benefit.

According to reports there were several transactions made at the Regency Square Mall in Florence, followed by the iPad purchase at Walmart.

They're believed to have driven off in a burgundy car.

If you have any information on who the men are, call the Florence Police Department immediately. You can remain anonymous.
