HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The Huntsville Housing
Authority announced Friday the sale of the former Councill Courts Community.
The HHA said the Bristol Development Group, PGM Properties and Triad
Properties completed the purchase
Friday morning.
The property sold for
$5 million and the funds will be used to purchase more properties for
affordable housing in the city.
The former community
will become a new Publix supermarket, apartments, a hotel, retail shops and
restaurants.
The development will be
called Twickenham Square.
