FLAT ROCK, AL (WAFF) -
Jackson County deputies made a drug bust at a Flat Rock business Thursday.
Officials executed a search warrant at a business on Highway 71. During the search, authorities seized marijuana and approximately 160 controlled pills including: Xanax, Hydrocodone and Oxycodone.
47-year-old John Robert Day and 27-year-old Sondra Abney Kirk were arrested in connection with the seizure.
Day was charged with possession of marijuana, four counts of possession of controlled substances and resisting arrest.
Kirk was charged with possession of marijuana, four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Approximately 160 pills were seized.
