Rain has wrapped up and moved east along with the cold front today, and although we had some good downpours there for a while, most of us only had a half inch to an inch.
Higher amounts prevailed with the stronger and more severe storms to our northwest.
Fortunately for us, the dynamics in the atmosphere above the Valley were not conducive to severe weather, but they were in Mississippi, and Arkansas.
A few possible tornadoes have been reported between the two states, along with wind damage and hail reports. No such reports have been reported in Alabama.
So now we just wait for the cold air again. Sunshine today but clear and chilly tonight as we fall off into the lower 40s.
