HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
One person was shot during an armed robbery in Huntsville.
Police said the shooting happened just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex on Seven Pine Circle.
Ephrian Smith told police he was going to his daughter's apartment when a man approached and tried to steal his wallet. Smith fought back, and the offender shot him.
Smith was taken to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police searched the area for the gunman, but no arrests were made.
