HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Huntsville gym held a
fundraiser Saturday to raise money for breast cancer.
The 24-7 Gym celebrated
their grand opening by raising money for the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer fund.
They offered fun and
games for the family as well as free health assessments.
The 24-7 Gym will also
have a team participating in the Liz Hurley Ribbon Run next week.
"Being
a health club and a wellness center, obviously we're a big proponent of women's
health, and we're a big supporter of breast cancer awareness and helping the
fight against breast cancer and finding a cure," said Executive Manager, Karrah
Hunt.
The Liz Hurley Ribbon
Run will be October 20. They money raised will go towards the purchase of 3D
mammography equipment for the new Madison Hospital and also go to upgrade the
equipment at the Huntsville Hospital Breast Center.
