GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -
An Etowah County man was arrested on rape charges.
52-year-old Michael Sims of Gadsden was charged Thursday with first degree
rape.
Investigators said the incident happened on September 29 in the
Tidmore Bend community. Officials said Sims and the victim knew each other.
He is being held in the Etowah County Jail on $25,000 bond.
