HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Putting a cap on a busy weekend for UAH Athletics, the University of Alabama in Huntsville will officially open the doors on the new Charger Park on Sunday, Oct. 14, with a ribbon cutting for the new facilities at the baseball/softball/soccer complex set for 12:30 p.m.
The ceremony will take place immediately prior to the Stuedeman versus Stuedeman battle as UAH will take on Mississippi State in an exhibition at 1 p.m. in a contest that pits the Blue and White's Les up against her sister Vann – the skipper for State.
The events are just two of five total athletic events to be held on campus Sunday, capping off a weekend that will see nine UAH home contests including hockey's regular-season opening series with Minnesota State.
ALL TICKETS FOR FRIDAY NIGHT'S GAME AGAINST MINNESOTA STATE WILL BE FREE. NO ADMISSION WILL BE CHARGED TO ENTER THE PROPST ARENA AT THE VON BRAUN CENTER FRIDAY NIGHT.
