DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Calhoun Community College is taking a step toward annexation into the city of Decatur.
Calhoun officials will present the proposal to the state board of education during a work session on Thursday in Montgomery.
The board could vote on the proposal in two weeks.
The annexation would also have to be approved by the Decatur City Council.
