MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The Huntsville Police, Madison Police and
Madison County Sheriff's Department are teaming up on October 13 for a drug
take back initiative.
The public can bring unused or unwanted
prescription medication for safe disposal.
Officials said collections of expired and
unused medication greatly reduce the risk of medicines entering the water
supply.
The public can drop off medications from 9
a.m. to noon at the Jaycee's Building on Airport Road, the Flint River Baptist
Church on Highway 231 and the Madison Police Department on Hughes Road.
