COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The court date is getting closer for two of the four people accused in connection the murder of a Shoals woman.
Ronald Weems and Laurel Pruett were in court on Tuesday for pre-trial hearings.
Investigators believe Weems killed Amanda Taylor in the basement of his Colbert County home in 2011.
They said he then recruited Pruett to help him get rid of her body.
Their trial is scheduled to start next Monday.
Matthew Fox and Ashley Greenhill, two other suspects, are charged with hindering prosecution and abuse of a corpse.
Their trials haven't been scheduled yet.
