SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
One person is in custody after an early morning shooting in Sheffield.
Sheffield Police said one person was shot in the parking lot of Club 256 on South Atlanta Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital and police said he is in stable condition.
One person is being detained but no charges have been filed. Police said they are not currently searching for anyone else.
No names have been released.
The details of the shooting are still under investigation.
