Cotton farmers' hard work is about to pay off; the state's cotton crop is flourishing.
Extreme heat and drought wreaked havoc on late corn crops, but local farm experts predict a bountiful year for cotton.
Planters say the fall rain has been a welcome sight to their crops.
However, wet fields could delay harvest for another few weeks.
