MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -
A Leeds man has been indicted on three counts of capital murder, according to the District Attorney.
Derek Burt was indicted for the 2008 murder of Harry Ricks Sr. Investigators said Ricks was found shot at his Muscle Shoals home.
Investigators said three men armed with guns entered Ricks' home and
tied up Ricks, his wife and daughter. Ricks was apparently able to get
his legs free, and as he ran to the door for help, he was shot in the
head.
Burt remains in the Colbert County Jail without bond.
