HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A woman is in serious condition after she was shot at a Huntsville apartment complex.
It happened at Burgundy Square Apartments on Binford Drive just before 1 a.m.
Britney Moore was shot in the leg and also sustained injuries to her hand. Police are still investigating who fired the shots.
One person has been taken into custody for questioning but no charges have been filed at this time. Police said the man may be the victim's boyfriend.
The case remains under investigation.
