Huntsville man charged in 6th Avenue murder

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are investigating a homicide.

52-year-old Ricky Ray Ingram was found dead at a home in the 2600 block of 6th Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police determined it was a homicide.

Investigators ordered an autopsy with the Alabama Forensic Lab.

As a result of the homicide investigation, Huntsville Police charged Jeremy Nolen Thompson, 37, with murder.

Thompson was booked into the Madison County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
