DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Two men have been arrested in connection with a September 24
armed robbery.
Deputies responded to a robbery at the Interstate Shell gas
station on Highway 36.
Investigators said a masked offender armed with a knife
entered the gas station and demanded cash from the woman working.
He left with approximately $1,000 in a white SUV.
Investigators reviewed surveillance video from the scene and
identified the vehicle as well as an image of the unmasked suspect.
Deputies identified and interviews 20-year-old Garrett Ashton Baldwin of
Hartselle. He was subsequently charged with robbery first degree.
A second suspect, 17-year-old Demetrius DuShawn Johnson, was also
identified and arrested. He was also charged with robbery first degree.
