LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Limestone County judge set bond for Joel Moyers Monday morning.

His bond was set at $260,000, with four conditions. First, he must surrender all firearms. He will not be able to possess firearms while free on bond. He must also not live in Belle Mina and he must move back to Cullman.

Moyers is charged with murder in the shooting death of 26-year-old Brandon Hydrick.

Investigators said Hydrick and his brother were driving around Limestone County early Saturday morning because they were lost after attending a bonfire in the Tanner community.

Moyers saw the brothers' truck and became suspicious. He told deputies he went outside with his AK-47 rifle, shined a light on the vehicle and tried to get it to stop. Moyers said the truck did not stop, so he fired a shot into the air.

Investigators said the bullet struck the tailgate of the truck, entered the cab, and hit Hydrick in the back, killing him.
