HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
New information about the allegations made against a local teacher has been confirmed.
Brett Naff was charged with sodomy.
He's on leave from his job at Country Day School.
According to court documents, the victim told investigators this happened back in January of 2004.
Why Naff was not arrested or charged at the time of the alleged incident eight years ago is unknown.
New court documents state the alleged victim in this case is a girl, and the charge is strong arm sodomy.
The warrant for Naff's arrest was issued on September 24.
School leaders at Country Day School said they stand behind Naff.
He will remain on leave until the legal process in this case is complete.
Naff is free on bond.
He's expected in court October 17.
