Tonight on 9News at 5: The sinkhole in Assumption Parish is growing, and now the people who are supposed to be fixing it may be in danger. WAFB's Nick Foley is following the story in the Bayou Corne area and will have the latest.

Then tonight on 9News at 6, State Superintendent of Education, John White, is out touring schools across the state. He is tracking progress at schools participating in the scholarship program.  "The number one thing our system needs right now is the great work of teachers and parents, and they need to be communicated with to get the information that they need," said White. But we want to know at what cost? WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes spoke with him and will have his comments.
