LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A man accused of sexually abusing a child pleaded guilty Monday.
Daniel Vickers pleaded guilty to sexual abuse first degree. He sexually abused a 4-year-old girl in Tanner in 2011.
Sheriff Mike Blakely said Vickers stayed overnight with an acquaintance. The acquaintance heard his daughter scream in the night and when he went to check, he found Vickers molesting his daughter.
Vickers ran and was arrested at a nearby home.
Vickers faces up to 10 years in prison for the charge.
