HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A middle school teacher at The Country Day School in Huntsville was arrested and charged with first degree sodomy.
Brett Naff, 42, was arrested Monday afternoon and booked into the Metro Jail. School officials said Naff has been placed on temporary administrative leave pending a resolution of the allegation.
The allegation was brought against him by a former student.
"Our staff stands behind Mr. Naff's innocence in this matter and are anticipating a speedy and just resolution with a finding of not guilty," a school spokesperson said in a statement.
The County Day School teacher Brett Naff was charged with sodomy.
