RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Franklin County man accused of shooting his girlfriend asked for his trial to be moved to a different county.
Jason Green is charged with death of his girlfriend, Shay Ledlow, at their Russellville home back in January of 2011.
Green told police she shot herself, but investigators charged him with murder.
Green's trial is currently set for October 15, but that will change if a judge allows the case to be moved.
