HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A small house fire in north Huntsville is under investigation.
The fire broke out at a home on Jeri Street near Tee Jay Drive around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Fire investigators said the fire started in a bedroom in the back of the house. The bedroom was heavily damaged, and so was the attic.
No one was at home at the time of the fire. Firefighters put out the blaze within seven minutes.
The cause is still under investigation, but investigators said it didn't appear to be suspicious.
Firefighters put out a fire on Jeri Street quickly.
